En parallèle à l’étude ED-1, l'équipe de target
DESIGN frappe son premier coup médiatique avec ce prototype novateur sur base
de MV Agusta, publié dans le cadre d'un concours du journal allemand
"Motorrad" ayant pour thème la moto de l'avenir. |

Notons pour la petite histoire que les deux autres bureau de style
participants étaient Porsche et Ital Design. En fait, target était déjà en train d'étudier
le prototype ED-2 ! Hans Muth a dessiné cette moto spécialement pour Motorrad en s'inspirant des travaux en cours chez target DESIGN. For the side note, the two other design centers working on the "bike of the future" were Porsche and Ital Design. In fact, target was already studying the ED-2 prototype! Hans Muth drew this bike specially for Motorrad finding inspiration in the work in progres at target DESIGN. |

En effet par rapport à l'ED-1, la moto est plus radicale : l'objectif de la future
Katana 1100 est de présenter une aérodynamique révolutionnaire et une ergonomie
optimale… Indeed he ED-2 clay model shows a more radical character than ED-1 : the goal of what will become the 1100 Katana is to present revolutionary aerodynamics and optimal ergonomics... |
