Le club japonais a lui aussi célébré dignement les 30 ans de la Katana chez Suzuki à Hamamatsu les 15 et 16 octobre 2011. J'ai eu la chance de pouvoir y participer !
Katana Japan also held a Katana celebration at Suzuki's headquarters in Hamamatsu on the 15th and 16th October 2011. I was lucky to be able to participate!

Il y avait près d'une centaine de participants. Il y avait des Katana partout sur le parking du grand Hamanako Royal Hotel, 750, 1100 et même deux 400 ;-) Les vendredi et samedi furent pluvieux, mais cela ne fait pas peur aux fans japonais !
There were some 100 participants. There were Kats everywhere on the big Hamanako Royal Hotel, 750s, 1100s and even two 400s ;-) The Friday and Saturday were heavily rainy, but the Japanese fans are very brave!

Des invités de marque nous ont fait l'honneur de participer à ce week-end, de gauche à droite : Minoru Oshima et Masao Tani de Suzuki, Mitsuo Itoh et Masaru Mizutani les grands champions de Grand Prix moto, ici présentés par le président du club, Michiaki Yamaguchi.
The guest stars made us the honour of participating the whole week-end, from left to right : Minoru Oshima and Masao Tani from Suzuki, Mitsuo Itoh and Masaru Mizutani the great motorcycle Grand Prix champions, here being introduced by KOC Japan's president, Michiaki Yamaguchi.

L'ambiance était fantastique, et la soirée de samedi fut consacré à célébrer les 30 ans de la moto, les 25 ans du club, sans oublier les victimes du récent tremblement de terre.
The atmosphere was fantastic, and the Saturday evening was spent celebrating the 30 years of the bike, the 25 years of the club, without forgetting the victims of the recent earthquake.

Le dimanche, nous nous sommes rendus en convoi, et sous un beau soleil, à l'usine Suzuki voisine, dont avons visité le musée. La marque nous avait fait l'honneur de ressortir la GSX1100SE des salons de l'époque dans la vitrine du musée !
On Sunday, we went by bike to the nearby Suzuki factory, under a nice sun this time, and we could visit its museum. The brand was kind enough to put a motorshow GSX1100SE in the museum's window.

L'ultime GSX1100SY "Final Edition", la numéro 1100, est en présentation permanente dans le musée. Photo obligatoire ! Ici avec messieurs Tani et Mizutani, ansi que les "visiteur étrangers" venus de Taiwan, d'Australie... et de France !
The ultimate GSX1100SY "Final Edition" is on permanent display in the museum. A picture was mandatory! Here with Tani-San and Mizutani-San, and the "foreign visitors" who came from Taiwan, Australia... and France!

Le week-end est passé en un éclair, j'ai rencontré tellement de gens adorables et il s'est passé trop de choses pour en faire un résumé ici. Je ne peux résumer qu'ainsi : un voyage inoubliable ! Merci à tous !
The week-end went in a flash, I met so many lovely people, and so many things happened to make an accurate report. I can only sum it up like this: it was an unforgettable journey! Thanks to all!
