Here is the 45th Katana Treffen report !

La plupart des visiteurs a du voyager sous la pluie du vendredi. Nous avons pu visiter les locaux de Suzuki Europe à Bensheim. Visite très intéressante d'une belle entreprise, et nous avons montré de nombreuses motos faisant partie de l'histoire de la marque aux gens de Suzuki !
Most visitors had to travel under the rain from Friday. We could visit Suzuki Europe in Bensheim. It was interesting to see this sleek organisation, and we could show the Suzuki people many bikes from the history of the company.

La pluie a cessé après la visite, nous avons donc pu arriver quelques heures plus tard à Trochtelfingen tout secs !  Un bel endroit, où nous avons retrouvé des amis de Suisse et des Pays-Bas. Le samedi, nous avons roulé 80 km vers l'impressionnant château de Burg Hohenzollern ! Une paysage sublime, un temps magnifique, des routes viroleuses à souhait et une vue depuis le châteeau incroyable... Perfekt !
After this visit the rain stopped, so we arrived dry in Trochtelfingen a few hours later at the place of the main event. A nice place, so we could use it for interesting discussions with all the friends from Germany. Some friends from Switzerland and the Netherlands joined us there. On Saturday, we had a rally of about 70/80 km to the impressive Burg Hohenzollern castle. Great landscape with the best weather (sun was shining), many curves on the road and an interesting view from the castle ... Perfekt !

De retour à la base, nous avons eu tout le loisir de discuter moto et de découvrir de nouveaux amis, car de nombreux nouveaux membres étaient là. Ils ont d'ailleurs du présenter un petit spectacle avec tombola pendant que les anciens élisaient les plus belles motos.
Back to the site, everybody had time to talk about the bikes and find new friends, as many were visiting the meeting for the first time. The new members of the Katana Owners Club had to present a little show in combination with some tombola and the community decided which were the best bikes of the show.

Je crois qu'au total 80 Katana étaient réunies, et toutes attendent le prochain meeting avec impatience !
I think that all in all some 80 Katanas attended the meeting, and all of them are waiting for the next one !

Le dimanche, il s'est mis à pleuvoir des hallebardes, chacun est donc rentré chez soi à la nage... ou presque ! Mais tout le monde est arrivé sain et sauf, et les motos sont maintenant toutes propres !
On Sunday it was raining cats and dogs, so we had more of a swim home than a ride home ! But everybody arrived home safely and the bikes are now all clean !
